Human society seems to revolve around the internet now a days. I actually love certain new aspect such as facebook, email, and this blogging concept. I have lots of family in Missouri and haven't been able to see most of them in about 3 yrs now. I am immensely grateful for facebook in this regard because I can now just log on and "see" any of them whenever I want. I can send messages and watch my neices and nephews grow. I now have 2 neices and 1 nephew whom I have not even met yet. the other two though, I'm sure, don't even remember me; too young. I also have several new cousins whom I have yet to meet. It can be pretty sad somtimes to think about.
I receive my favorite parts of fitness magazine in my e-mail which I am able to access at my convenience. I hate the fact that so many trees and forests are being destroyed to print on, therefore thoroughly enjoy the fact that I can see it all then delete and get new stuff. Just about anything a person can think of can be accessed through the internet now. I can use blog sites to not only find just the news I'm interested in, but also hear what others dually interested think about it.
The fact that the internet has developed such that I am able to access these venues is a great pleasure to me and I'm sure a vast many others. While reading "Everthing Bad is Good for You", I feel much more enlightened to the intricacies of being able to use the internet in general. Along with enjoying the benefits of having such accessibility I'm developing brain wave connections. The fact that I have to go through a series of "clicks" to get what I want, triggers my brain activity. I have to remember how it's all done as well; triggering my memory bank connections. I short I'm becoming a much smarter person by using the internet.
This class is obviously conducted with a necessity of internet usage; therefore reinforcing my need to practice with this greatly expanding venue. I love the internet; I believe a great many people do. Even though I know there are those who don't seem to be able to "get it" or are even still afraid of the fact that someone could get some information about them, more people like and enjoy aspects of the internet than ever before. It is this truth that will keep the internet growing and expanding for time to come.
